Quaint decor, plentiful and very tasty food, prices are okay, staff friendly

We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant today. We hadn't made a reservation because we were promised on the phone the day before that we'd better come by and, with a little waiting time, could get a table. Unfortunately we were turned away. We were then insulted much worse for justifying why we hadn't made a reservation. Then the verbal derailment of the waitress was really bad. We really can't help the upcoming lockdown measures by the federal government. Apparently the nerves are on fire in the restaurant. Absolutely unprofessional !!! It's a shame, but we won't visit the restaurant again. Fortunately, there are many other nice restaurants in Pirna.

As always, the food was delicious. The service and the atmosphere was great. It is and will be our regular pub. Many Thanks. Keep it up.

A delicious Saxon kitchen spoiled us. It's just a shame that the venison goulash tasted like garlic afterwards. The sauerbraten was great.

Large selection of delicious food in a very rustic restaurant with extremely friendly and helpful service. The central location makes it well filled - advance booking recommended. Clear recommendation from me.

In all of Pirna nobody wanted the three of us on Friday evening. No place! Luckily we got to "Zum Anker" by chance. Great, nice service and delicious food. "The sauerbraten ... was perfect".

The service was easily annoyed and after wrong food he put the blame on the customer. They also lied about the statement that the hot chocolate was with milk. As is usually the case, it was just cocoa powder with water and so I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. The food is good, but there is still room for improvement. Example fried potatoes. Few toasted aromas and cut too roughly. I have to apologize for the packing. It was uncomfortable for my company to criticize the food. She took the food out of a false politeness.

Unfortunately no ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ allocation possible. I would love to come back on my next vacation. We wish you continued success, especially in these uncertain times. Stay healthy. GLG

Very good restaurant with local cuisine in a historic building. Tasty food and friendly service.

Excellent cuisine and very nice staff / owners. The anchor is a must for every visitor to Piraeus! A bit next to the market square and therefore a bit quiet. There is a beautiful "beer garden" and a children's playground next door.

We were on vacation near Pirna. We visited many restaurants. I can recommend the anchor without exception. The food was delicious. We felt very welcome. I would recommend a visit to anyone looking for a good restaurant in and around Pirna. Great, always happy. !!

Average German home cooking. Average service. Slightly more expensive but otherwise solid restaurant.

Stayed here today with friends. Never before have we seen a service staff insult our customers so insolently. We left without ordering, a return visit is out of the question. "edit" If the staff insults passers-by as "stupid" who obviously hadn't noticed something, this is very much in connection with the inn. The food may be as it is, but the service is the last thing.

Very comfortably furnished, the staff is really very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were outstanding! The Dresden Sauerbraten was delicious 😋 😋. I can only recommend this inn! Please keep up the good food and such friendly service !!

Very nice restaurant, furnished in a rustic style. The service is very nice, the food was tasty and reasonable in price. The taste of the garlic soup was awesome, you can't get that better in the Czech Republic.

A great chance discovery in a small alley near the market. Loving exterior furnishings and a treasure trove inside. No matter where you sit, you will discover exciting things everywhere. The kitchen and what the kitchen conjures up on the plate is fantastic. The restaurant is a must f. Pirna's visitors who like good down-to-earth food. A large outdoor area complements the space considerably. The portions were very plentiful and almost too big for my standards. Big thanks to the 2 service staff! (male + female) No matter how full it was, and this is normal here, they were always there and had an overview. You have to plan waiting times for the food. this is not a FastFoot store in case burger customers get lost here again. In any case, very clear recommendation!
